A healthy alternative to beef burgers!
Try our tasty tuna burgers for a delicious alternative to the traditional beef burger
Ingredients:
- 160g Tin tuna
- 1 Egg white
- 1 tbsp Oats
- 1 tbsp Tomato puree
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp All-spice
- 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp Whole grain mustard
- 1 Small onion
- 10g Coconut oil
Optional extras (depending on your calorie intake & goals!)…Avocado & Mozzarella
Drain the tuna & place in a bowl. Add egg whites, tomato puree and oats (blend the oats until they’re like breadcrumbs if you can – don’t worry if you can’t). Add spices and onion and give it all a good mix!
Add the coconut oil in a non-stick pan on a medium to high heat.
Shape two burgers and fry each side 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
