Gary started his fitness transformation journey at the age of 57 after 30 years of hitting the booze & corporate entertaining lifestyle hard. He came to us with a very negative relationship with both training & nutrition & his health was somewhat compromised.

Gary has been taken through a long re-education phase & transitioned his entire lifestyle from someone that hated training to now one of the strongest, most optimistic guys in our gym. He’s now loving every second of it with his new found zest for life at the age of 61 years young.

As we age, there are a number of changes that our bodies go through. One of the most commonly discussed changes is the notion that our metabolism slows down as we get older. This notion has been around for many years and has been the basis for many fad diets and weight loss programs. We know that there are other factors that play a much larger role in the decrease in metabolism as you age. This lifestyle factors are the things that we worked on with Gary to achieve this fantastic transformation.

By maintaining a healthy diet, engaging in regular physical activity, getting enough sleep, and managing stress, we can help to support a healthy metabolism and prevent the decline that can occur as we age.
